Earn an ICF Credential!

We encourage all coaches to continuously develop their skills, work towards getting accredited by The International Coaching Federation (ICF), and then maintaining that credential through continuous development.

With the increased focus on collaboration and a coaching approach in leadership, we see many leaders earning and maintaining an ICF coaching credential as part of their leadership development. Learning and practicing coaching skills helps leaders to develop their people, foster creativity and innovation, and to overcome their biases.

ICF Credential-holders are part of a self-regulating group of elite coaches who provide accountability to their organizations, clients and the coaching profession as a whole. They pursue and complete rigorous education and practice requirements that provide unquestioned legitimacy to their commitment to excellence in coaching.

LEARN Coaching is recognized by The International Coaching Federation as an Accredited Coach Training Educator. ICF represents the Gold Standard in coaching. We are extremely proud that they have rewarded LEARN Coaching Level 1 and 2 status.

Our Level 1 program consists of

LEARN Self-Leadership & Coaching and

LEARN Coach Training.

Graduates from this program can apply for their ACC Credential through the Level 1 application path.LEARN Coach Training includes demos, training, reflection, Mentor Coaching and a Performance evaluation. If the graduate not yet has 100 hours of coaching practice, they will receive their ACC Credential (Associate Certified Coach) upon completing 100 hours of practice and passing the ICF Credentialing Exam (multiple choice). ICF does not reward credentials to coaches with less than 100 coaching hours.

Our Level 2 Program consists of

LEARN Self-Leadership & Coaching and

LEARN Advanced Coach Training.

Graduates from this program can apply for their PCC Credential through the Level 2 application path.

LEARN Advanced Coach Training includes demos, training, reflection, self-care, a commercial perspective on coaching, Mentor Coaching, a Performance Evaluation, and a project that accelerates your number of coaching hours. If the graduate has 500 or more coaching hours, they will receive the PCC Credential (Professional Certified Coach). If the graduate has between 100 and 500 coaching hours, they will receive the ACC Credential (Associate Certified Coach), in waiting until they complete 500 hours, they can then apply directly for the PCC Credential. If the graduate not yet has 100 hours of practice, they will receive their ACC Credential upon completing 100 hours of practice and passing the ICF Credentialing Exam, and after completing 500 hours of practice the PCC Credential.

Applying with a Level 1 or Level 2 diploma means less admin and less cost for our students. Once a graduate has passed their performance evaluation from LEARN Coaching, they can apply directly to ICF, and they will receive their Credential once they have completed their 100/500 hours and have passed the ICF Credentialing Exam (multiple choice).

If you chose to join parts of our curriculum you can count the hours you have completed towards the ICF´s demand of 125 coach training hours to become PCC, or 60 coach training hours to become ACC.

Coaches that already holds an ICF Credential can count training hours from the LEARN Curriculum as Continuing Coach Education hours (CCE), to renew their credential. You can read more about the paths to an ICF credential here: https://coachfederation.org/icf-credential
